Customized Modpack?

Hey everyone! Well with the inactivity on the server I have come to the decision of not to shut down the server, but to make it more fun for a community. I think alot of people are retracted by the idea of us being a 'Mindcrack Crackpack' Server but it might spark more interest in the community if we were to maintain our own mods based on what our community wants.

I will be working on the modpack. It might be through the Technic Launcher as I have the most experience through that making modpacks. The base modpack will be the Crackpack of course.

Tell me what you think and remember to spread the word about us!

i ok with anything. but can we take out that portals mod and get MistCraft. (just ban everything in it except linking books) they work a lot better and dont take away hunger or glitch out every now and then XD

That, is phisically impossible. If we get a new pack, all Iwant is Mekanism, thaumcraft, Botaniaa, and since we're getting a custom one, stick in Optifine

If we change the modpack in anyway we will obviously have to reset. I can always worldedit things back in but it will be difficult. If we do go with a custom modpack we will fix alot of lag, almost minimize it.

New map will have my house at spawn there since i worked hard on it.... Also there will be a world border because I can... I will work on it tomorrow or monday. kinda busy tomorrow.

Could you give me a list of mods that you're going to certainly have in the modpack before I give any recommendations?

Also, pls no IC2erino

Edit: I'll also actually have time for the next map after the 17th, because I'll be done with finals then \o/
Edit2: It might also be more interesting if we stick together early on, as it seems like things become significantly less interesting once we spread out.

ic2 is fun and harder to mess with then the other mods. + most will go with mek. anyways. but hey if your not up for doing a little more work that's your problem XD

I agree with notably. Let's stick together at the beginning, or maybe just stick together permanently. That sounds nice. I think Crowell would go crazy though

Im down for a reset and ill probably be done with omega ruby untill its up(sry if i was on too little lately) and i agree about the special mobs thing, its just too random especially with those spiders

For mods that havent been mentioned yet, could we include chisel again?
Also im not too big of a fan of hardcore ender expansion(i like the empty end), but thatd be up to the community
like notabot said a list would probably make this post a bit more organized

im ok with having a spawn home. but if we are can get add like a claim type of thing. one of the main reasons im not ok with it is because i have trust problems because of a friend i use to base with... he kinda jacked everything he could and killed me at every chance it could as well

I have told you for the tenth-hundereth time I can make your place a region where no one can kill you, mess with anything ect... basically you can be a hermit in the middle of town..

So dont complain :p

I can also make it so you can accept people into the region to edit it for a while
