First topic message reminder :

I am freaking excited everyone! Over the past 3 Days I have been testing testing and testing just to get this Modpack for the community completed and its now safe to say that I and we have completed the wait. I announce to you everyone....

Mages vs Engineers Modpack


It is a private modpack that will utelize in two teams for the server: Mages and Engineers. I have been trying to balance the mods so the mages don't take over the engineers as that is pretty easy, but dont worry. The title is just a title, you will not be restricted to any sets of mods so that should not be a problem. I am just trying to make the server more interesting with more Community events focused around the two teams. I am going to have everyone re-whitelist themselves as there is a new application asking you what team you want.

Now, I'm sure you just want to play some of the Modpack but I just want everyone to know the new guidelines for the server to keep the community going:


  • Build a home/ place at spawn
  • Join the new TS(Team Speak) Server I will be creating for the community.
  • Add each other on Skype.  - My Skype is just Ponchieoo
  • Be able to join the community meeting once a week to decide what are goals should be for the next weeks.


With the Guidelines I have more things to tell you:


  • There is a World-Border this Map that is 1400 Blocks in Diameter
  • Our Teamspeak Server is now offically open! The IP is: 208.100.46.160:8248 Password: Foxcraft
  • Remember to add me on skype @ ponchieoo
  • We will have a community meeting, or get-together every saturday night @ 7PM on TeamSpeak


Now for the Fun part... With the implementation of two teams it will broaded what we can do for the server. Here are just a few things:


  • Easy UHC Teams
  • Capture the flag @ Spawn
  • Lots of other Team Games
  • Death Games?? (Other team members)

and this list can be expanded

I'm sure you all just want to start playing haha, so here is all Information on how to get started:


  1. Add a Whitelist Application
  2. Download the Technic Launcher @ http://www.technicpack.net/download
  3. Sign in to Technic Launcher
  4. Add Foxcraft Modpack to Technic PLATFORM URL:
    http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/foxcraft-modded

  5. PLAY Very Happy
  6. TeamSpeak: 50.31.100.7:8248 Pass: foxcraft


And with the Technic Launcher I can automatically push new mods out if someone has requested a new one Smile
So with that, Go Play!!!

*I Navigate to look for a Folder Created for the Mod-Pack but there is not one

*I Have attempted to Create a Folder in the appdata>Roaming>.technic>Modpacks folder

*But the if I Select the Manually Created Empty Folder is says "Please select A empty Directory"or "Requires a directory other then C:\users\(my name)\appdata\roaming\.technic

Collin copy your .technic folder into your desktop then make sure the modpacks folder inside it is empty, then save the modpack to there, in the modpacks folder.

Copy this into the bar where it shows where you're looking (at the top)

collin do what i did. make a folder on your desktop and download the mod into that.
worked on the first time i tried it XD

Ah open the Foxcraft modpack folder and stick Buildcraft in the mods folder you can download that here:

http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/download/
Click on
Download BuildCraft 6.2.5 for Minecraft 1.7.10 at the page, then you should be good to go:)

just delete chisel:facades mod in the mods folder

Looking at the mod list could you add the mods Soul Shards Reborn and Red Stone Arsenal! ill let you know if anymore come to mind!

Every time I try to enter the TS server it just says failed to connect. Is it because the TS server is on a time rota or something?
